Rhinegeist-LogoAs always, there are a ton of label approvals going through lately that need a disclaimer… this doesn’t mean this is happening, or happening anytime soon… but it gives us a hint at what might be coming down the pike from our local breweries when we see these labels get approved by the TTB.

This one just popped up for me, and got me pretty excited.  It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new can release from Rhinegeist, with most of their new releases going towards their 22oz bomber series instead.  I’m a huge fan of Goses, and think that this next summer is going to be the “Summer of the Gose” across the country, let alone here in town… so it’s exciting to see this one maybe seeing some packaging.  Peach Dodo has been around on draft for a while now, and has been met with a lot of positive reviews, so it only makes sense that they’d take this next step for it.

The can reads:

This German Gose is bright and frisky, tart and saline, and dances on the palate with punches of peach.  Thirst quenching beyond all imagination, Peach Dodo is the finest of liquids for a beach picnic or for making history.

It clocks in at 4.4% ABV and a light 12 IBUs, making this a sure fire sessionable beer for the warm weather… whenever we finally get some!
