Tangerine Gose Style Ale
This beer broke the mold a bit when it was released by Wooden Cask in six packs and on draft in March of 2020. Sure, Wooden Cask has done some other stuff that might have seemed a little bit of a departure from their “norm”, but with a Tangerine Gose there was no denying that they were going to try things that were a little out of their comfort zone.
Luckily for us… they’re amazing at what they do, and this beer is a testament to that.
My Thoughts On There Gose Cutie
Hazy, bright orange colored with a thin white head, the beer looks like something you want to sip on next to the pool.
You get a big, bursting orange aroma as soon as you crack the cap on the bottle. It almost swirls around you as you pour the beer into your glass.
The taste is bright, tangerine citrus with a snap of tartness. The salt in the beer lingers right at the end cutting through the flavor and making you want to take another, even bigger sip of the beer. When you think of warm weather drinkers, a beer like this is exactly what you think of. Refreshing, satisfying… delicious.
