It’s name might be a bit boring…Moerlein Lumenocity, but regardless… I’m excited to try the beer. A pale ale that will be released Tuesday, July 26th. The beer, a collaboration between head brewer of Christian Moerlein Brewing Company, Matthew Utter and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director, is 4.7% abv and has 42 IBUs, featuring Centennial, Citra and Celia Hops. I suppose this could be Moerlein’s session pale ale for the summer. Part of the beer’s proceeds will go to help support the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, which will be putting on Lumenocity this summer (August 1-3) at Washington Park.
So…get to your local watering hole, and support the fine arts… especially if you were one of the many who weren’t able to get your tickets to the show…
