This New England Style IPA was paired up with Listermann’s ’99 Problems, But A Beer Ain’t One’ for a can release on April 1st, 2017.  The 16oz pint cans are part of Listermann’s series of Hip Hop themed NE IPA cans that they’ve been releasing together.

This can features Galaxy and Mosaic hops for a beer that has all the fruit that a NE IPA could possibly want, without any fruit injured in the process.

My Thoughts On Listermann Tricky

This beer pours a bit less hazy than some of the other NE IPAs in Listermann’s series, but that’s not even close to being a “bad thing” for me.

The aromas of fresh fruit leap out of the glass.  They’re quickly brought into check with a light pine aroma that pulls it back.

The flavor of Tricky is layered up with a base of really nice biscuity malt, and a soft mouthfeel that lets the hop flavor really shine.
