If you’re a regular in the Braxton Covington taproom, you’ll be familiar with the “food dilemma” that has long plagued the brewery. They never wanted to be a brewpub, and they honestly just don’t have the space to bring in a full time food vendor, and most of the solutions that they’ve tried to use, just didn’t work as good as they’d hoped they would. This long standing problem has finally found a solution with the opening of their new neighbor, Alto Pizza.
All About Alto Pizza
Headed by FlipDaddy’s founder, Bob Dames, you have probably heard at least a little rumbling of this place by now. It’s the first location to open inside the new 19 million dollar Duveneck Square development.
Alto Pizza Kitchen in an upscale pizza place, serving up not just pizza but sandwiches and pasta alongside beer, more than 30 wines and a dozen handcrafted cocktails.
The best part of the opening is that you won’t have to leave the Braxton taproom to get some food while you’re there. Alto and Braxton will have a kiosk inside the brewery where you can place an order, which will then be prepared next door and delivered piping hot right to the kiosk. The addition of the kiosk is a great idea by the brewery. If you want to replicate this, you can find a variety of kiosks that can be customised to your needs at https://kiosk.com/custom-kiosks/. It all together means that the brewery not only is able to allow their guests to still bring in other food options if they want – but maybe more importantly, they can still remain dog friendly!
The Launch Party
To celebrate the opening of Alto the brewery is throwing a party (of course!). It’s all set to go down on Saturday, July 7 starting at 11am.
Keep in mind that this isn’t the party you want to be fashionably late for. The first 100 people who order a pizza will win free pizza for a year! Yeah – drink some great Braxton beer, and get free pizza? This could be one of the greatest days of your life.
