As you hopefully have started to realize by now, craft beer isn’t just about beer… or taprooms, or any of the stuff that’s right in your face when you belly up to drink all of our favorite beverage somewhere. It’s a much bigger picture, and a massive part of that picture is giving back to the community that supports you.

There’s a big part of a lot of our lives that can easily be overlooked from time to time, only because they don’t have voices as loud as some of them on Facebook groups these days. I’m talking about animals… and Streetside is putting together a beer release event that is geared at helping to raise money for two local animal shelters… a cause that I feel extremely strongly about, and want to bring a little awareness to.

About The Release

On the surface, ‘Who’s A Good Beer’ is a hazy pale ale. The cans will feature cute little dogs and cats, with their names on them… it’s going to be adorable. But the really fun part of it is that next to each Dog or Cat picture will also be contact information. from the shelters where these animals can be adopted.

The entire release is designed to help get animals adopted, to bring awareness to the animals that need families to help them… there are literally hundreds of dogs and cats that are looking for homes, and Streetside is teaming up with Save The Animals Foundation and Ohio Alleycat Rescue to hopefully make a difference and to find some of them forever homes. Hopefully those who do adopt them will be prepared to put in some work to foster a good bond between them and their new dog, as some dogs who have come from shelters can be extremely nervous around humans initially, especially if they have suffered at the hands of humans in the past. With a combination of something like CBD oil for dogs UK and some good old fashioned tender loving care, however, a new dog can settle into a home quite happily and learn to trust their new humans to look after them.

In addition to the release of the beer on Saturday April 11th – the brewery will be hosting two separate fundraisers for each shelter to get a leg up on fundraising and to help gain some attention for the can release.

  • February 25th – 6-9pm – Ohio Alleycat Rescue
  • March 7th – 1-5pm – Save the Animals Foundation

25% of each four-pack that is purchased will be donated, along with 1$ from every pint of in taproom sales.
