I don’t really make it much of a secret… I really love Fibonacci. It’s not just that owners Bob and Betty are awesome people, though – the brewery itself is absolutely brilliant. This is one of the best examples of a Cincinnati brewery that 100% knew who they were before they opened their doors and has spent every minute in the meantime honing that experience for us as drinkers to enjoy.

If you haven’t been staying up to date here on the blog (you can always read about them right here) I can get you caught up. In the last few years, they added their beer garden (which has taken the title in the last two years that I’ve been deciding the best beer gardens/patios/rooftops in the city) – they put in a couple of Airbnbs in the space next door. Who can forget the goats and chickens, too? The brewery isn’t just a brewery and taproom, it’s a fully functioning urban farm.

Brilliant, right? Seems like all valid reasons for you to head out to celebrate their seventh birthday with them – and it’s a good year to do it with a whole weekend of festivities planned!

Why Celebrate?

Let’s not beat around the beer garden on this one… it’s been a rough few years for everyone. There was that whole pandemic thing that happened, you remember that, right? On top of that, the brewery was hit by a freaking tornado. If that’s not enough to make you feel for them – you’re aware of all the staffing and supply issues that are plaguing the industry right now, right?

It all culminates in what I call the best reason to celebrate with a place that you love – they’re still here and still smiling about it.

They are choosing to throw a weekend-long celebration, and I think it’s absolutely valid this year.

The Food

You can’t drink all that beer without some food in your belly – and they are making sure you don’t worry about that either. Fosters Foodies will be on hand Friday night serving up their tasty American Fare. Following them up on Saturday Mahope will be holding down the fort with Cambodian Street Food, and on Sunday SEA Cuisine will be on hand serving up Thai, Vietnamese and more.

Delicious, right?

Music

All three days will have some form of musical entertainment for you, also! On Friday, the Davidsons will be playing, Saturday Seanti-Aeris will be playing and Sunday is still TBD – but it’s gonna be awesome!

How To Get There

I assume at this point that you are aware of Fibonacci and how to get there – but if not, you can always hit up their website – or just punch it into your phone… come on, directions are easy to get to anywhere these days. They’re located at 1445 Compton Rd, Cincinnati Ohio 45231, though… just in case.

Be Gnarly… go pet goats.
