Cincinnati Distilling Opens Up A New Retail Space In Kenwood Mall.

Shopping just got a lot more fun. When I was a kid, I could easily be talked into a trip to the mall with the promise of some time in the arcade or, in my case… a round of putt-putt. (I live in Fairfield, and I desperately miss Forest Fair Mall in all its glory). My wife will be very happy to hear that in the same way, my parents could bribe me with ‘Time Out on the Court’ in my childhood, she can start to bribe me with a trip to Kenwood Towne Centre and Cincinnati Distilling’s new retail location in the mall, which is officially open, now!
The Details
The local distillery arm of March First brands is opening up a storefront that will offer up a place to shop for the entire lineup of their spirits portfolio. From Voltage Vodka to their Cooper Island Rums, Red Sky Gins, Phantasm Agave Spirits, and the exciting Stillwrights line – there’s going to be a ton of stuff here regardless of who you’re shopping for (even if you’re just there for yourself).
That’s not all, either. They’re going to use the space to highlight local creators and businesses through glassware, barware, and unique gifts. This will be the perfect place to do some serious shopping for the drinkers in your life. They’re even going to have artwork from their Millcraft gallery for sale in the space.
Why This Is Great
Look… it’s nice to have a space in the Mall where we can buy spirits for those folks on our list that really just want some booze. That’s a very good thing… but being able to sneak a little taste while you’re shopping? This is great. Being able to tuck a bottle of bourbon into the rest of your shopping to have a little something for yourself? This is amazing.
It’s also a brilliant move for the distillery, putting their brand in front of crowds of people every day with a billboard that will only increase awareness of what they’re doing to even more people in the city.
