It’s always a good day when you get to get out of town for a few hours and stop by a new-to-you brewery. You know what makes it even better, though? When the excuse to do that is to co-host the inaugural Ohio Beer Awards! I found myself stepping into Seventh Son Brewery this week for exactly that, and not only did I get a chance to try a few beers that confirmed for me that these guys are making great beer – I also got to help award medals to 47 different breweries around the state that are also making some incredible beer.
We’re extremely lucky to be beer drinkers here in Ohio… and this award ceremony only continues to confirm that!
Of course, here on the website, as much as we love Ohio beer, we like to hyper-focus on what’s happening right here in Cincinnati, and our local spots brought home a bunch of medals that I have to share with you!
