Here Comes The Sun is our newest Berliner Weisse that we brewed to celebrate a union in our Streetside Family. Tart lemon, orange and vanilla sherbet flavors come together to remind you of your favorite summer treat. This delightful Berliner is sure to bring back the sun even on the cloudiest day.

This beer nails it. A near-perfect Sherbet flavor tucked inside a light, refreshing, tart Berliner. It was first released in cans and on draft at Streetside on 10/11/19, and cans of it headed out into distribution to Streetside’s partners across Cincy.

The beer was brewed for head brewer Garrett’s sister Erin’s wedding – and I have to say… they better make a batch of this for every one of her anniversaries because of how freaking delicious it is.

The timing is near perfect. Just as fall is setting in, it’s one last warm weather hurrah.

My Thoughts On Streetside’s Here Comes The Sun

I have to admit, when I first read that this was a Sherbet flavored Berliner – I wasn’t sure that I was going to love it. Not one for overly sweet beers – I tend to shy away in lieu of something else. My goodness am I glad I snagged some, though. This one is fantastic.

In the glass, the beer is hazy orange, with a small foamy head that quickly fades away.

The aroma is a delicious blend of vanilla, orange cream. It’s like stepping foot in a candy store.

The taste bounces back and forth between the puckering tart snap of the Berliner base, and a sweet, rounded vanilla laced with orange, lemony fruit. The beer uses it’s brisk tartness to keep your palate refreshed and wanting more… and want more I certainly do.
