I have been on a quest for a while now to learn more about pairing craft beer and cigars.  It’s not always easy to do and thusly gives me a thrill when I nail that pairing down even more.  (By the way…for all you cigar fans – stay tuned for some big cigar/beer news from CincyBrewCast soon, as well as some great posts here about pairing beer and cigars).

Regardless of my affinity for trying to pair these two vices of mine together, I was thrilled to hear that Braxton Brewing was going to be featured at the Beer Sellar this week for a cigar night.  They will be pouring Storm, Sparky and Crankshaft and pairing them with some great cigars.  This might be a great opportunity to learn a little bit more about what makes a cigar go great with a beer, and vice versa.

The event is at the Beer Sellar in Newport on Wednesday the 23rd and runs from 6-10pm.  Should be a blast! Find the event on the calendar here.
