Crafted Pints LogoUPDATE: 08/13/14  Via their facebook page – “Today we sadly have to report that we will no longer be utilizing the location we had until this point called home, in Lebanon, Ohio. Crafted Pints had fully committed to being on Hidden Valley Fruit Farms and we were partially through our licensing process when we hit a major roadblock. Unfortunately we have ran into some serious zoning issues that have made it impractical to continue our plans on the farm. After careful consideration, we have decided to relocate our brewery and recently began revisiting several areas of prior interest in and around the city of Dayton.”

There are few things that get me as giddily excited as a new brewery opening up in the area, and upon hearing the news that Crafted Pints Brewing Co, originally planning to open in Dayton, was scheduled to open up just slightly north of Lebanon later this year, my giddy laughter commenced full force.

Don’t judge me.

I feel that all of our breweries so far have defining characteristics that not only set them apart from each other, but at the same time tie them in to the same community that we know and love, Crafted Pints will be no exception to this.

Hidden Valley Fruit Farm is a fully functioning farm just a bit north of Lebanon, that will be the home to our newest brewery.  It’s location on a working farm makes this an exciting brewery that will be able to harness the fresh produce all around lead brewer Jerrod Fisher as he creates the 4-6 year round offerings, and additional seasonal and limited releases.

It’s exciting to think of the possibilities that come with a brewery that is so easily able to harvest their own hops and fruits for limited releases.

The farm currently produces apple cider which only makes it a given that this brewery will have another unique feature in the area… hard ciders.

Plans this early can and will obviously change, but currently there is scheduled to be an on-site taproom and an outdoor beer garden that can support live music acts.

All in all, it’s shaping up to be another exciting year for Cincinnati beer and brewing.

Make sure to check Crafted Pints out on Facebook and follow me on twitter for any brewery updates or news.
