Watching the devastation that has hit Asheville in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene has been heartbreaking. The city that is known as ‘Beer City USA’ has countless stories that beer drinkers all across Cincinnati hold near and dear to their hearts. It’s a special place, full of incredible breweries.

We all want to know what we can do to help.

The North Carolina Craft Brewer’s Guild is working incredibly hard to give us ways to support the city and has issued a call to action to everyone in the form of a nationwide tap takeover dubbed “Pouring For Neighbors.” If anything showcases what makes this community special, it’s when part of it needs help – and that time is now.

While getting out into the world and buying a beer that was brewed in Asheville certainly helps – getting into one of the taprooms around Cincinnati that is part of the “Pouring For Neighbors” takeover might be the best way right now that we can support Asheville.

NOTE: I’ll keep this updated as more places sign on for it. With that being said, it’s also Cincy Beer Week, and I’ll be swamped with that. If you catch one that I don’t have on the list, PLEASE shoot me a message and let me know.

Also to note: If you’re a brewery and you’re looking to help give back to Asheville, it’s a very easy process. You can sign up over here.
