Immortal Vibes Brings Caffeine, Cocktails, and Chords Together In Hamilton, Ohio.

What happens when you combine three of my hobbies, Coffee, Booze, and Guitars? You get a spot that I want to spend a lot of time in, that’s what you get. This is exactly what you’ll find with Immortal Vibes in downtown Hamilton, Ohio. Sure… It’s a bar – but it’s also a coffee shop, too. That’s not it, though. The walls of the space are adorned with guitars that invite you to pick them up and play. Seriously… It’s like hanging out in a music shop that has a bar.

What To Expect

The bar is situated right along Main Street, tucked next to a bakery and another bar. It’s part of the constantly evolving and growing entertainment scene in Hamilton that consistently surprises me every time I visit the city.

If you had described this place to me 10 years ago, and told me that it would be sitting in downtown Hamilton, I would have told you that you were nuts. (That’s a compliment to what Hamilton has done over the last decade.)

When you step in, you enter a warm space that immediately evokes the feeling of the coffee shop side of its personality. A long bar sits along one wall, topped by the espresso machine. As you walk along the bar, you see the beer taps, though, and then your eyes drift to the backbar that is covered in plenty of booze to please even the most diehard bourbon drinkers.

The space is then filled out with tables along the other wall and a couple of couches, as well as more comfortable seating for those who want to hang out for a little while. Stepping around the corner, you’re hit with the realization that there is a whole other side to the room, too. A huge open space filled with more tables and room for live music on the weekends. It feels like stumbling on a hidden gem, probably because you are.

What To Drink

Immortal Vibes is designed to be a space for people to hang out and talk in – the guitars that I mentioned before solely exist for you to play. You and your friends can move around the room, plugging in guitars from every musical era that you can imagine. The music and the instruments inspire not only the conversations, but I like to think the drinks that people choose as well.

Speaking of which, it’s a great place to drink.

When you walk into Immortal Vibes, it doesn’t matter what type of mood you’re in or what friends you have alongside you; there is something that you’ll love. Between a full coffee shop menu, several great local beers on tap, and a personality-filled cocktail menu, there is 100% something for everyone here.

That’s a massive part of the fun for me. Sometimes I step in the door looking for a warm cup of coffee to fuel my day and end up with a stiff, classic cocktail instead.
