MadTree never ceases to impress me. This is a brewery that has been part of Cincinnati’s taproom culture from the early days, and yet even as they’ve grown to be who they are today – with three different taproom concepts, across (soon to be) four spaces around the city… they feel more like themselves today than they have ever before. They spend more time figuring out who “MadTree” is than most places spend doing almost anything. It’s one of the reasons that I love sitting down with them to record podcasts.

Head Brewer Brittany Frey was kind enough to sit down over a flight of their new World Cup themed beers to talk about it all… from the new taproom concepts and how they fit into the big picture to changes in the management structure of the company and how it shapes their day-to-day – to the bigger picture of what is going on in the industry today.
