This week’s episode of the weekly pint starts off, well… exactly how all of them have been starting off this summer – with rum. I found a bottle of rum stashed on a shelf in my office, and figured why the heck not give it a taste to see if it’s any good (spoiler alert… it was just “Ok”) and from there we got a little sidetracked by a call on the drunk line and some partenting advice from one craft beer fan to another.

Kroger is doubling down on their wine departments, adding wine stewards, and tasting bars… but why? Can this actually be a good thing for the wine industry?

I also drink a beer that has a lot to do with a movie that I probably need to make it a point to watch one of these days…

Over all… it was a great time, a great “not a show” and exactly why I love doing The Weekly Pint!
