The Queen City Brewing Company’s second operation in the city, The Watson Brothers Brewhouse was named after Hugh and Parks Watson, two early aviators in Cincinnati’s history. The brewery changed its name to Watson Brothers Brewery & Bistro when the Queen City Brewing Company changed its name to the Queen City Restaurant Group in 1999.
The brewery was exactly what you remember 90s brewpubs to be like… not that that’s a bad thing.
The location still exists and has recently undergone a new life as a brewery, home now to The Firehouse Grill and Brewery.
