All About Swine City

Swine City was (and still is) Fairfield’s only brewery, and they don’t take that responsibility lightly. Owner Dan Ebben is a “local” and worked his butt off to make Swine City a reality for a long time before the doors opened in 2018. The brewery tries hard to not stick to any particular style or theme, but let the winds (and customers) take them wherever they might go. It creates an atmosphere that is welcoming, warm and ever evolving.

What’s Swine City Like?

Swine City takes an open warehouse space and transforms it using warm barn wood (from an old bar on a hop farm there in Fairfield). The brewery is what I’d call “no frills” but elevated just enough to let you know that they put some time and thought into making it comfortable. The outdoor space is massive, with a big 2600 square foot patio next to a 1.6 acre green space – it certainly kicks their family friendliness up a notch or two when the weather is nice outside!

Their beer spans the gamut of what you might think of, from traditional styles to sours and even some ciders that have been gaining a following on their own. You never know what you’ll get when you swing into Swine!
