You’ve made a discovery, a German-Inspired pale ale lifted by creativity and crafted for the lofty flight of a zeppelin. Christian Moerlein Zeppelin Bavarian Style Pale Ale showcases the characteristics of traditional pales, enhanced by the distinctive flavors and aromas of German noble hops. Pilsner and Munich malts provide a significant backbone balanced by delicate floral and fruity notes from a late kettle hop addition and dry-hopping. The result makes this Zeppelin constantly smooth and balanced in flight.
I love this beer. There is not really an easier way for me to tell you that, other than to just come right out and say it… it makes me happy when it’s in my fridge, and it makes me ecstatic when I have it in my glass. Zeppelin is a Bavarian Pale Ale which is a pale ale, brewed with the flavors of German noble hops up in the forefront. Being called a pale ale leads many people astray on this one, they are used to all these IPA hop monsters that are around us, and Zeppelin is not that.
Zeppelin is a more refined beer… elegant. It’s got a solid malt backbone, that is carefully balanced out by the herbal, flowery and slightly spicy notes form the Noble Hops. This is an easy drinker, and one that I cannot recommend that you try enough. Delicious.
Attempting to drink a different be reach day in 2014. My streak is still alive and have added Zepplin to my bucket list.
