There are three things we have learned never to discuss: religion, politics, and the Great PumpCan. While The Establishment is spooked by the mere mention of the PumpCan, we bravely ponder its existence. So go ahead, sing fall carols and enjoy our way of delivering grandma’s baked goodness straight to your pie hole.

The Great Pumpcan pours into your glass a dark nutty brown color with a tan head that stirs up aromas of a fresh fall farmers market.  This is a pumpkin beer that tastes like a pumpkin beer, not a pie…not a spicy pumpkin treat…it’s a solid beer that uses the pumpkin as an ingredient.

It’s well rounded, with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, but not in an overpowering way like so many fall beers have.  The Great Pumpcan uses all it’s ingredients to enhance each other, not overpower each other.  Very well done recipe.

This is a beer that has a nice full body and will go well with any chilly fall night that is coming your way.
