Brewery – Listermann
Beer – No Sleep ‘Til Norwood
Style – NE IPA
ABV – 6.8%
East Coast IPA brewed with Galaxy, Falconer’s Flight 7C’s, & Motueka!
I feel like Listermann can go on for a long time using different varieties of hops, and methods for their series of NE IPAs, and for the third month in a row it seems like they’d agree with that.
This beer locks in on some really great hop varieties, with Galaxy, Falconer’s Flight 7C’s, & Motueka. When it’s all said and done you’re left with a hazy treat of a beer that had people lined up down the block to get the chance to purchase in early March. It was released alongside Brewer’s Delight as part of their “Hip Hop Series” of NE Style IPAs in 16oz pint cans.
My Thoughts On No Sleep Til Norwood
This beer is a hazy dark orange color, with a nice thick white head on top of the glass.
I get aromas of tropical fruit and berries… it’s fresh and bright on the nose – spring like if that is a good descriptor.
The taste is awesome. There is a ton of that juicy fruitiness that was in the aroma, but it’s brace with a soft mouthfeel and a bit of a touch of malt sweetness. This beer hits on a lot of different fronts, and it’s fun to see that even after a few releases, Listermann is still making something so different then all the other ones, even aside from the hops.
