East Coast IPA brewed with Citra and Wakatu.
The brewery rolls on with their series of hip hop themed NE IPA releases in their 16oz pint cans with this one. When it was released for the first time on April 1, 2017 it was coupled up with ‘Tricky’. It’s second release was in October alongside Hank The Dumpster Kitty.
My Thoughts on Listermann 99 Problems
It looks like hazy orange juice in the glass, except for the thin white head on top.
Aromas stick with the juicy theme, bringing forth notes of tropical fruit and oranges.
The beer tastes like a soft NE IPA. Exactly where it should be. There is a slight bitterness which is nice considering the style…it’s full of those tropical fruit flavors, with orange and pineapple dominating what I get. There is a nice underlying malt flavor that holds it up. Really well done!
