It’s been an old tradition for the annual WEBN fireworks to get paired up with a local beer – and this year Braxton is stepping up to the plate to make sure that all of the thirsty drinkers at the annual Riverfest event (on both sides of the river) get their hands on something that will pair up just as nicely with a fireworks show, as it does with a warm summer night.
Meet Short Fuse
Short Fuse is the answer to the beer question – it’s a Grapefruit Pale Ale that sounds fantastic – let’s look at what the can says about the beer to learn a little bit more:
A Bright Tasting Banger Bursting With Citrus Flavor
Grab a can, sit back and enjoy the show. This classic American Pale Ale is hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe hops for floral and citrus notes. Brewed with grapefruit for a truly authentic summer experience. It’s bright finish pairs perfectly with the bright night sky.
The beer is an easy drinking 5% ABV, with a nice, solid 50 IBUs – and you won’t miss it sitting on your store shelves with it’s ‘black as night’ can, punctuated with that signature WEBN frog green. This sucker stands out!
The Release
Braxton loves their release parties – and coupled up with WEBN, this one is shaping up to be a good one! The brewery is hosting a live remote broadcast by the KiddChris Show, and attendees will be the first to be able to get their hands on six packs of the beer, as well as try it on draft that night.
