Grab a can, sit back and enjoy the show. This classic American Pale Ale is hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe hops for floral and citrus notes. Brewed with grapefruit for a truly authentic summer experience. It’s bright finish pairs perfectly with the bright night sky.
Short Fuse isn’t just a tasty summer sipper of a pale ale, it was also the official beer of the 2017 WEBN fireworks. I suppose that that’s part of the reason it’s so fantastic on a warm summer evening, right?
The brewery uses grapefruit juice, alongside Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial hops to give the beer a big burst of citrus flavor that I can’t get enough of. The beer launched in early July of 2017, and was available on draft as well as the bright green cans, with a rocket on the front of them.
My Thoughts On Braxton Short Fuse
Short fuse pours a hazy golden yellow color in the glass with a thick off white head on top.
The aromas are full on fruity joyful happiness. Grapefruit zest hangs in the air amongst a light floral scent.
The flavor is crisp and refreshing, full of wonderful juicy grapefruit. It’s a blast of fresh fruit, and light bitterness that leaves you wanting more. It’s a nice fit in the hot sunshine of the daylight, as well as the cooler night after the sun has dropped below the horizon.
My biggest takeaway from this beer? I really, really, really hope that we see it return next summer!
