Brewed in collaboration with the gaming gurus at 16-Bit, Press Tart is a Berliner Weisse Fruit Beer, bramble-smashed with marionberries and blueberries. Rich and fruit-forward, this brew unlocks secret levels of berry jam and punch-you-out tartness.

Rhinegeist hit a homerun when they partnered up with 16-Bit bar/arcade in 2017 to create Press Tart. Rhinegeist Press Tart first hit packaging in the fall of 2017 when they dropped it into bombers are part of their rarity series, but very quickly it was moved into cans for the summer of 2018 where coolers all across Greater Cincinnati quickly became close friends with the beer.

Packed full of Marionberries and Blueberries, Press Tart is refreshing, fruity and excellent for a warm day by the pool, if you ask me!

My Thoughts On Rhinegeist Press Tart

In the glass, this beer is great to look at, even before you think about taking your first sip. Bright purple hues catch the light, and an amazing, thick, foamy, pink head sits perched on top of your beer glass.

Aromas are light and fruity. Definitely berries, and a grape-like wine note.

When I taste the beer, I’m hit first with the tart “snap” of the beer. This is followed up by a great, bright fruity wine character. The beer finishes strong, with a jammy, berry flavor that lingers long on the palate.

Really great beer, from Rhinegeist, if you like tart, fruited, refreshing beers, you should 100% not be passing this one up on the shelf!
