It’s been a big year for Streetside. They’ve settled into things, and started to really figure out “who they are”, and are diving head first into that identity lately. It all makes for a perfect time to get together and celebrate with them for there third anniversary which takes place this weekend (9/28) starting at noon. Of course… they’ve lined up a bunch of beer releases, live music and some great food trucks to make sure it’s a good time for all!
The Food
Let’s start with the food, because we all know that no one wants to spend all day drinking without something delicious in your belly too, right? They’ll, of course, have Street Chef Brigade serving up from their onsite food truck all day, but to back them up they’ll have Galactic Chicken (who makes some AMAZING fried chicken that they serve up with cheesy poofs… awesome, right?) and LeCreParis, who if you have been to an anniversary party before you should know. They’ve become a bit of a staple at the anniversary events at this point, and make some incredible crepes.
The Music
Live music… all day. They’re gonna make sure that your toes don’t stop tapping while you’re drinking.
- Jonathan Cody White – 1pm-3pm
- Warrick & Lowell – 3:30-6:30pm
- Dan Varner – 7pm-8:15
- Nick Netherton Band and Brad Kelly – 9pm-10pm
The Beer
I don’t know which will get your more excited, the fact that they’re going to have some great beer on tap, or that they’re gonna let loose on a ton of packaging (new and old) that will make sure you don’t have a shortage of beer to stock your fridge with at home. Either way… you won’t have to worry about going thirsty!
- New Can Release – J00S3Y, Double NE IPA – Loaded up with German and English Malts alongside Mosaic and Citra Hops… this one is gonna make a lot of you NE fans pretty happy! $16, Four Packs
- New Can Release – Let Them Drink Cake! – Double Milkshake IPA – African Queen, Citra, and Mosaic hops couple up with Madagascar Vanilla for a creamy, fruity treat of a beer. $17, Four Packs
- The Cellar Sale – If that doesn’t do it for you, the brewery is digging into their cellar too for some oldies but goodies. Tequila Mockingbird, Toasted Coconut/Vanilla Demogorgon, 2017 Demogorgon, Apricot All In The Family, C’est La Vie.
This event is gonna be a blast, and even if you don’t need more packaged beer… or you aren’t hungry… or maybe you don’t even like music. You should still try to stop by and let these folks know that you support what they’re doing. Streetside is entering into a new part of their journey… and it’s gonna be fun to see where the next three years (and beyond) take them, and us.
Congrats on year 3!
