When MadTree first started releasing packaging they created a bit of a buzz by becoming the first craft brewery in Ohio to put beer into cans. (It’s hard to remember back to 2013 – but there really weren’t a lot of craft breweries canning their beers, still). Fast forward a little bit to their first barrel-aged packaged releases and when they made waves with some bottle releases that were dubbed the “Trunk Series” along with the “Funk Series” that followed up which was made up of their sour and funky beers (also in bottles).

MadTree has continued to evolve and explore who they are, with their branding and their packaging, and while they still drop their big barrel-aged and funky stuff in bottles – in 2019 the name was changed to the ‘Canopy Project’ with a new – refreshed look to the 16.9oz bottles.

As new beers are introduced, released… or maybe even teased, I’ll add them right here for you to see what all this new series involves!
