As if the annual release of Fretboard’s ‘Nati Dread Imperial Stout couldn’t get your stout loving soul more excited… they’ve gone and decided to crank things up even higher for this year. Not only will the can release include this year’s 2020 ‘Nati Dread, but you’ll also have a shot at snagging every single one of the 2019 ‘Reggae Series’ beers, too. This year’s event is on 1/25 and it goes all day – from noon to 11 pm, with stuff happening that whole time to keep you interested, hopefully.

‘Nati Dread

Before we get into the day’s full schedule, you should know what you’re dealing with, here. ‘Nati Dread is a big Imperial Stout, but the punch that it packs insn’t limited to the big 10% ABV smack… it’s got a few other tricks up it’s sleeve in the way of some time spent in Bourbon barrels and a healthy addition of toasted coconut and Maverick chocolate, too.

This beer is pretty fantastic, and the 16oz cans will definitely find a welcome spot in your fridge or beer cellar this winter (and for some time to come, too)

The Schedule

Not only will the Quasi Kings be making the trek down from Columbus to make their debut at Fretboard – the brewery is making sure that the entire day is packed full of great reasons for you to make your way out, too! The band starts at 8 pm… but the festivities start at noon, so make your plans accordingly!

  • Noon – The release of the entire 2019 ‘Reggae Series’ of Bourbon Barrel Aged Stouts. You can read more about the series here, but it includes 2019 ‘Nati Dread, Cool Meditation, Leggo Beast & Cliftone Cookie Jar. These cans are very limited and are going to be taproom exclusive at this point with no limits… but first come first serve. The four packs will be $29.99.
  • Noon – The tapping of 2019’s ‘Nati Dread, non-barrel-aged.
  • 1 pm – 2020 ‘Nati Dread can and draft release ($10.99ea 16oz cans)
  • 2 pm – 2019 Chase The Devil, non-barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Coffee & Habanero on draft
  • 3pm – 2019 Leggo Beast BBA Stout with Maple Syrup and Coffee on Draft
  • 4 pm – 2019 Cool Meditation BBA Stout with Chocolate and Peanut Butter on Draft
  • 5 pm – 2019 Cliftone Cookie Jar BBA Stout with Chocolate and Graham Crackers on Draft
