Arnold’s thrives on a few different things… tradition and community being two of the biggest. Today is Opening Day – or it was supposed to be. With the current Covid-19 crisis, we all know by now that it was canceled. But for Arnold’s, that’s just not acceptable.
Enter “Opening Day, Anyway”, a brilliant middle finger to the virus, to the shutdown and to the lack of social engagement that so many of us are seeing. Don’t worry… they’re not throwing a parade and a party – they’re going to do this online from the bar’s Facebook page. A lot of the things that you love about Arnold’s usual Opening Day celebration will make their way to the digital celebration, like baseball card giveaways, performances from the Shakespeare Company, Jim Tarbell, Todd Hepburn and Jake Speed.
Today IS Opening Day… and Arnold’s is going to have something planned for every hour starting at 10am and going until 8pm.
