FigLeaf Brewing Company has evolved a lot in the four years that they’ve been a part of our Cincinnati Beer community. It’s been incredibly fun to watch, and if you ask me – worthy of a celebration. Luckily, they’re throwing a party for their fourth anniversary so we can do just that!
About The Event
10/10/20 it all goes down as FigLeaf celebrates with a ton of fun stuff including some great beer tappings, live music, and a perfect socially distanced patio for us to get as much outdoor drinking out of this fall as we possibly can.
Let’s tackle this one piece at a time, shall we?
The Beer
It’s not a party without some great beer, right? FigLeaf gets that, and are tapping 9 different variants of some of their most popular beers with stuff like:
- Carrot Cake Basmati Cream Ale
- French Toast Steel Cut Oatmeal Stout
- Cookie Dough Ponderous Porter
- Black Cherry Sous La Table
Of course… there’s gonna be a lot more too… including the triumphant return of their Acer Brunus, a maple wood-aged brown ale that we haven’t seen since 2017.
The Experience
2020 has been… weird. It’s been tough on a lot of different fronts and going out and celebrating with folks has been difficult. FigLeaf is tapping into their patios to make sure everyone says safe and comfortable during this. With two different spaces outside, one covered and one open there is plenty of well spaced out seating for you to hang out with your family or close friends and celebrate safely.
They’ll have live music cranking outside all day long for you to do it in style, too.
It’s really, really difficult to create events in the middle of all of this that nail what a beer event should feel like, while still keeping things responsible – and FigLeaf has cracked the code.
