MadTree kicked this series off in February of 2021 with a can that pays homage to Ezzard Charles and his legend. The series brings with it the tagline ‘Keep The Story Flowing’ and an idea that the stories around us deserve a moment in the spotlight.

As time goes on we’ll see what other stories are showcased in the series. For now… we should drink it!

My Thoughts On MadTree’s Legendary Lager

MadTree’s Legendary Lager is… well… legendary. It’s a beer that stands the test of time, reminds you of the beers that you grew up on, while being – well, better.

In the glass, it pours super light, yellow with a foamy white head.

Aromas are loaded up with floral hops that drift into fruity notes. Behind the hop aromas is a light, and I mean very light toasty aroma.

The taste leans into the malt for sure. Floral hops drift hard into a pool of soft malty bread. It’s got a nice fuller body than you’d ever think when you look at the light color in your glass.

I really, really enjoy this one. In fact? I love it.
