I know, I know – you’ve already got plans on 11/20. That’s the day that you’re gonna be hitting up Beer, Booze and Bonks. If you have a hankering to snag a sweet tattoo before or after the festival, though – I’ve got great news for you. Rhinegeist’s festival dedicated to imperial stouts and tattoos is returning this year – the same day as our festival is.

The Details

Inked 2021 will be running from noon until 8pm at the Rhinegeist taproom, and if you’ve never been – it’s definitely a spectacle. They line up special barrel-aged releases of their ‘Ink’ imperial stout for their fans to try, buy, and get up the courage to get a little ink of their own.

That’s right… you can get a tattoo.

They had to scale things down a little bit this year because of… you know… but that doesn’t mean it’s not gonna be awesome. They’re bringing in three of Cincinnati’s premier tattoo studios to do live tattoos of pre-selected flash art on-site in the taproom. The scaling back did, however, enable more space for each of the studios to work while also letting the brewery expand its bottle shop offerings.

They’ll have plenty of beer, including a unique new variant that will be available in the taproom for the first time.

There will also be installations highlighting brief histories of ink used for writing, tattooing, and even for the beer itself while you meander your way around the taproom, waiting for your chance to “get your ink on”.

Early attendees will receive a custom, limited edition tote back and early access to appointments with the studios, so make sure you get there early! In fact… you can even go early, get a tattoo, then still make it down to our festival for the second session! Win/Win!
