As the world around us is starting to make that change from the heat of summer to the beautiful colorful fall – Fibonacci is celebrating in the best way that a math and science-themed brewery could hope to: with an Equinox celebration.

It’s all going down this Saturday in their taproom in Mt. Healthy, and there’s a lot about this party that I think you should know about!

Plenty Of Room – Plenty To Do

The great thing about a party right at the start of fall – their massive (and absolutely amazing) beer garden will be in full swing all day and all evening. There will be plenty of space for you, your family, and your friends to all gather and celebrate together. As the evening hours roll around and things get a little chillier than we might be used to, you’ll be happy to hear that their fire pits are making their seasonal debut, too!

If you’d rather spend some time indoors – they’ve got you covered there, too. Both taprooms will be up and running. They’ll need to be, also – because the brewery is going to have a bunch of beer on tap. They’re going to have at least fifteen different beers available that day – and since it’s Autumn… check this out…

Beer For You!

The folks at Fibonacci love some of these seasonal beers, and their loyal regulars love them too. These five fall favorites will be making their debut at the event:

  • Pepo Pumpkin Porter – this dark, delicious pumpkin beer uses Long Island Cheese pumpkins from Lobenstein Farm (no… it’s not actually cheese… that’s a pumpkin variety – read more about ’em here)
  • Pride of the Valley – This sour ale is brewed with local Paw Paws and is tart, creamy, and freaking delicious. If you’re a fan of Paw Paw, or even if you are completely unfamiliar with this native fruit – you’re gonna wanna snag this one.
  • Linalool Gin Barrel Aged Belgian Wit – Juniper, Citrus, nice and dry – this beer is an absolute treat!
  • Origin of Species English Mild – This version of Origin of Species gets a nice little addition of Caramel Almond tea from Churchill Teas… it’s one of my favorite beer styles, and Fibonacci has a great one on its hands!
  • HuLu Fresh Hop IPA – This is one of the coolest fall beer styles, with fresh “wet” hops making their way right off the bine and into the beer. This batch uses Rakau and Crystal hops from Ohio Valley hop farm. I love OVHF and I love Fib… this is a must-try!

We Can’t Have Anyone Bored Or Hungry, Can We?

It’s not a party without some live music – right? Well… don’t you worry! Fibonacci is going to make sure you’re entertained with Xander Wells bringing his blues/folk music well into the evening to make sure that things keep rolling!

To keep you there as long as possible, you’re gonna need some food in your belly, and fan favorites ‘Mahope’ Cambodian Street food will be on-site providing just that.

The point is simple. If you love what Fibonacci does – this event is a perfect representation of all of that. Heck… I’ll even say that if you’ve never made your way to the Fibonacci taproom before – this might be one of the best opportunities to get a really perfect peek at what they do all year long, compressed into one heck of an evening!

Get there!
