I love a good beer festival. It’s a great way to get together with friends you haven’t seen in a while and an excellent way to try some new beers you might not have tried before. When I heard that the Oakley Kitchen Food Hall and Bacchus Entertainment were organizing a festival in Oakley, I knew I would have to head down and see what they put together!

I am teaming up with the festival to put on a live podcast from the event, and in addition, I’ll have a few tickets to give away over the next few weeks on the show – so make sure that you’re following along over at CincyBrewcast.com or on your favorite podcast platform!

Let’s get the basics out of the way, though.

The When The Where

The inaugural Oakley Beer Festival will occur in the Oakley Kitchen Food Hall at 3715 Madison Rd, in Oakley. If you have yet to swing by to grab some lunch or dinner here, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a really fun food hall concept, meaning several different food options ensure everyone in your group finds precisely what they are looking for.

The festival will take place on June 3rd, 2023, from 3:30 until 11:30 pm – and if you get a VIP ticket, you can get into the festival half an hour early.

Speaking of tickets… let’s talk about what they include!

The Tickets

A General Admission ticket – $15 until June 2nd, $20 until the event, $30 at the door

  • 7, Five Ounce Taste Samples
  • Pretzels

You can add a ‘taste more’ addition for $10 to get seven more samples (this will be available for $20 at the door)

VIP Tickets – $75

  • Early admission at 3 pm
  • Brew Swag
  • 28 Five ounce samples
  • Unlimited pretzels
  • $10 gift card good at any of the food vendors

Entertainment

I mentioned that I’d be on-site to record an episode of Cincy Brewcast – which should be entertaining. There will also be live music, as well. Playing that day:

  • Jesse Forrest
  • Big Daddy Walker
  • Elliot Sloan of Blessid Union of Souls
