This is the time of year that I wait 12 months for. It’s when my year starts and ends in my head – the center of my beer universe. This is Oktoberfest season! There aren’t very many things that compare to a great Oktoberfest festival, and here in Cincinnati there is one festival that is unlike any other one:

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.

As we prepare for this epic event, which takes place at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove downtown September 17-20th 2026 I thought we should probably sit down with the folks that make it all happen. Amy Fitzgibbons is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, and if anyone can give us a peek into this year’s festival and why we should be getting really exited for it, it’s her.

We talk about what makes this festival unlike any other, and what they are doing this year to kick it up a notch for the big fiftieth anniversary. We recorded this episode from the Sam Adams taproom in OTR, partially because I love that taproom, but also because Oktoberfest Zinzinnati wouldn’t be even a shadow of what it is without the support of Sam Adams. It’s a great backdrop to also talk about what you should be drinking while you’re at the festival this year!

We talked about the food, the events, the VIP experiences, the merch… if you’re not staring at the calendar waiting for this festival, already… you’re nuts.
