Pi Pizza Hits Fibonacci and Brings With It LUNCH!

What does Fibonacci NEED? What would make you visit Fib more often? What is one of the areas most unique taprooms lacking? I’ve asked this, and been asked this, more often than I care to count, and the answer always included one thing: Food.
Back when the brewery opened in 2015, things were a little different around Cincinnati. Sure, breweries were starting to showcase their own, or partnered, food operations. The idea of what a taproom was supposed to look like was changing very quickly – but you didn’t HAVE to have food for people.
Oh, my… how things have changed.
When Fibonacci’s new ownership came on board this year, one of the things that was at the very top of their list was figuring out a way to bring in a food program that not only brought people in the door and kept people in their space for longer, but also felt like it belonged there. Fibonacci Brewing Company is not just your average “run-of-the-mill” brewery; they’re literally one of a kind. I don’t make statements like that lightly, either. Part urban farm, part nano-brewery, they take farm-to-table very seriously and wanted to make sure that whatever this food option looked like, it feltright for them.
Enter Pi Pizza Company
Farm-to-table, ever-rotating small, personal pizzas designed to connect you with the farm, the beer, and the season that you find yourself in. This is a perfect addition to the Fibonacci space. The new food truck is parked permanently on site at Fib – it’s got permanent hours, which means that you no longer have to hope that whatever food truck is scheduled shows up or doesn’t leave early.
It’s a personality that you can actually connect with the whole space, instead of a truck that feels starkly out of place with the experience around you.
Lunch, Happy Hour
That’s not even the best part about this new addition. With the food truck comes expanded hours for Fibonacci, including a new thing… it’s called lunch. You might not be familiar with it… because it’s never been a thing at Fib – but I think you’re going to like it. It’s when you eat in the middle of the day.
That’s right – if you find yourself in the Mt. Healthy area during lunchtime (or want to make a trip over there) you have a new option. The brewery is now open at Noon, Wednesday through Sunday, for you to snag a pizza, a beer, and enjoy the company of people who just sort of GET IT. It’s a space that feels unlike any other, and I think that makes this news that much more exciting.
Happy Hour specials are also on the way – though, as of writing, we don’t have any additional details about ’em yet. Rest assured, I’ll keep my ear to the ground and let you know!
Embrace The Craft
There’s been plenty of negative opinions written about the state of the craft beer industry lately. I can certainly share my thoughts about THOSE opinions or what’s going on with craft beer, right now. Instead, I choose to look at places like this.
Craft beer is alive and well; it thrives in spaces like Fibonacci. These are places that don’t just understand who they are; they nourish the differences between them and the places around the corner, across town, or on the other side of the country. It warms my heart to watch people like Fibonacci’s new ownership not only understand this and embrace it, but also find ways to keep letting that difference grow into something beautiful.
