It a yearly tradition at this point – the collaborative event with Fifty West and Great Lakes that we all know as the Brew N Que. A beautiful mash-up of great beer and fantastic barbecue that showcases the best of both worlds, and brings together two breweries that have become great friends over the years.
The Event
This years ‘Brew N Que’ takes place on Saturday, November 2nd at the Fifty West Production Works. It’s the fifth annual event, and they haven’t let up yet with the experience that they continue to provide you when you buy a ticket.
The tickets are $40 and include access to an all you can eat array of barbecue, including a bunch of different smoked meats and side dishes. We’re talking wings, brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, corn pudding, collard greens, cole slaw, sloppy nancy (that’s some kind of vegetarian thing if you’re a vegetarian barbecue fan…), Mac and Cheese, Desserts. It’s pretty awesome, right?
The Beer
If the food doesn’t get you excited… I know this part will. Behold, dear reader… the tap list. Your ticket also includes 8 beer tickets which are redeemable at a number of pouring stations in 8oz cups. You can (of course) purchase more than that if you are still thirsty though. In addition to the beers listed here, you also can’t forget about the annual collaboration beer that Great Lakes and Fifty West brew up together. This year’s beer is called Pip’s Pale – a pale ale.
