Rhinegeist’s Rarity Series is the name for the Over The Rhine Brewery’s line of 22oz bombers. They kicked the series off with a bang when they put the first beer, Ink Imperial Stout out back in late 2014, and it’s been a wild ride since then! They’ve released some barrel aged goodies, some collaborations and a whole lot of different styles to keep any beer fan guessing what’s next!

A-Side – IPA
Released as a collaboration with Northside’s Shake-It records for Record Store Day 2015 A-Side is a fantastic IPA full of big citrusy and piney flavors.
India Pale Ale brewed up with flavor beats of dank baritones, sticky-icky pine and citrusy high notes for a symphonic hop explosion.
Streaker – Crowd Sourced Rye IPA
A fun take on a beer, Rhinegeist reached out to their social media followers and through a series of polls decided on the ingredients for this release, who’s name was also crowd sourced.
A crowdsourced Rye IPA with lively tropical and mango notes from Citra and Mosaic hops and malts chosen by the people.
Glow – Single Hop Pale Ale
This was a collaboration made to celebrate the Luminosity celebration in Washington Park. Rhinegiest tackled this single hop pale ale with German Huell Melon hops.
Glow Lumenocity Pale Ale is brewed with Hull Melon hops, giving the beer notes of summer melon and strawberry, making it appropriate for an evening at the outdoor symphonic and light spectacle of Lumenocity 2015.
Deuce – Anniversary IPA
Brewed to celebrate the second anniversary of Rhinegeist, Deuce is a big red IPA. 7.5% ABV – 75 IBUs
Our 2nd Anniversary Red IPA hits strong with a one-two punch of heady malt, backed up with serious Galaxy and Citra for tropical notes of peach, mango and papaya.
Alice – Belgian Blonde
6.3% ABV – 33 IBUs
A light Belgian Ale with spicy banana and pear notes, complemented with late hop additions of a newer American variety called Lemondrop.
Exum – Pale Ale

Plow – Saison

Homie(2015) – Double IPA

A Double IPA that showcases the varied nature of Mosaic hops with flavors that run the spectrum of tropical, pine, herbal and citrus.
Sherry Ink – Imperial Stout Aged in Sherry Barrels
10.5% ABV – 52 IBUs
Our Ink Imperial Stout aged three months in sherry barrels for a rich, full-bodied, and creamy mouthfeel with milk chocolate and caramel undertones.
Haka – Pale Ale
5.7% ABV – 42 IBUs
A pale ale that takes a Southern Hemisphere twist, using American hops in the kettle and dry hopped with loads of Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand after fermentation.
Saison Blue – Wheat Saison
6.4% ABV – 35 IBUs
A light Saison that features locally sourced organic wheat from Blue Oven, toasted in house. Spicy pepper notes are enhanced by orangey Mandarina Bavaria hops.
Stryker – Triple IPA
10.7% ABV – 100 IBUs
A big Triple IPA formulated by Brewer Aaron Stryker. Citrus, resinous, dank at at times, ever changing bitterness, tropical here and there with just a bit of passionfruit. Dry and highly drinkable for 10.7%

Penguin – Golden Stout
7% ABV – 35 IBUs
Penguin is a celebration of camaraderie, breaking the mold and the special bonds of friendship. It is 7.0%, 35 IBU Blonde Stout infused with coffee and cacao nibs delivering chocolate, coffee and roasted notes in a mindbendingly blonde beer.
Amy – Belgian Blonde Ale
4.8% ABV – 25 IBUs
Amy is an elegant, Belgian-Styled beer, brewed in celebration of our dear friend, Amy Merrell. Each sip offers soft malt flavors of freshly baked bread, mild, spicy, fruity notes and aromas and flavors; of peach, pineapple & pine.
Mushhushshu – Dark Ale Blend Aged In Bourbon Barrels

A blend of four black beers aged in bourbon barrels for more than six months, this melange strikes a dynamic balance of wood character with the addition of coffee, vanilla and cocoa nibs.

BA Mastadon – Belgian Style Dark Ale Aged In Bourbon & Wine Barrels
11% ABV – 28 IBUs
Barrel Aged Mastodon is the brainchild of Brewer Luke Cole and a real beauty of a beer. After taking inspiration from recent distillery experimentations, we went back to the drawing board to figure out how we could tailor such a process and make it unique to our style. This Double Oaked concoction is aged for 6 months in bourbon barrels before aging in red wine barrels for an additional 2 months. The result is a Belgian Style Dark Ale with rich complexities of dark fruit, milk chocolate, vanilla and wood.
B-Side

Flip it to the B Side IPA – Australian Vic Secret and Ella hops marry with Idaho 7 to deliver a cacophony of pine, resin, tropical fruit, grapefruit & star anise out to the aromatic middle of woop woop. Pop the cap, set the spin, & beatbox your grin to these fair dinkum beats of the banana benders.
Fluxion – Belgian Style Pale Ale

A close cousin to Fiction, this Belgian Style XPA showcases Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon hops, offering notes of honeydew, honeysuckle, and tropical fruit.
Spike – Belgian Style Wit

Belgian Style Wit Beer brewed with Mandarina Bavaria hops and infused with sweet orange peel.
Summer – Pale Ale

A single hopped pale ale featuring Australian Summer hops. Summer hops offer up fruity notes of apricot and melon
Trips – Sour Ale

Brewed to celebrate our third orbit around the sun, we’re charting tarter territory with Trips. This sour ale features the addition (during fermentation) of sour cherries and currants for a maelstrom of fruit and sour power. Trips is neon pink, sour, and hypnotic.
Roar – Double IPA

Fed the top-of-the-food-chain hops of Amarillo, Mosaic, and Citra, this Double IPA is King of the Jungle. Roar bellows with apricot, peach, mango, grapefruit, and citrus. A beautifully hoppy and majestic Double IPA.
Rhinegeist – Knucklehead
