If you’re already planning out your Bockfest weekend festivities, you might want to leave Sunday Morning open on your calendar. Christian Moerlein has teamed up with Arnold’s Bar for a bottle release of an extremely limited run of only 300 bottles of their Emancipator Doppelbock with coffee added. That’s right… the famous Silver Medal GABF winner Emancipator has gotten even better in the form of Coffee Emancipator… The label reads:
Originally brewed to help monks get through their holy fasts, this medal-winning Christian Moerlein Doppelbock is brewed with locally made coffee to help keep celebrants jubilant during Bockfest. made in collaboration with the legendary Arnold’s Bar & Grill, this beer will only be released in a 300 bottle batch. Enjoy it now, or proudly cellar it to explore a wealth of complex flavors.
Look… I don’t know about you, but If I’m lucky enough to snag one of these, there is no way that I’m going to be able to stash a bomber of this away in the beer cellar for any length of time. This sounds delicious!
The event will kick off at 11am with the release, and Arnolds will have a full menu and live music from the Tillers at noon, making this a great end to bockfest weekend. Like I said before, though, with only 300 bottles available, this is going to go quick, the first 100 bottles will be hand signed by Christian Moerlein’s head brewer, Eric Baumann, and there will be a 2 bottle limit for anyone hoping to score some of this. You won’t find it on draft, and the this will surely become a collectible for all us beer geeks around the city!
