All About The Cincy Brewing Company
It broke a lot of hearts when Rivertown Brewing Company left their taproom in Lockland as they opened their massive new space up in Monroe. While the new place is a lot nicer and fits the longterm goals of a brewery like Rivertown a lot more – it left a void. In August of 2019, the new Cincy Brewing Company moved into the vacant space hoping to fill that void in a lot of different ways.
They hope to bring Lockland the family-friendly spot that craft beer fans have been missing – with lots of games, frequent food trucks and a separate “quieter” space it looks like they’re on the right track so far in their young life.
What’s Cincy Brewing Co. Like?
I layed out my first visit in detail for you – but if you missed it I can break it down for you. Cincy Brewing Company will remind you a lot of the former brewery that was there, Rivertown. It gets a little warm in the summertime, it can get a little loud – and sometimes that what you want from your taproom. It’s a warehouse-type of space, with high ceilings and concrete floors. There are a lot of big tables around the space to encourage you to hang out and meet some new friends.
As of writing, they don’t have a ton of their own beers available, but with the promise of more on the way – I’m curious to see where it goes from here!
