MadTree is famous for their cans… they were after all the first craft brewery in Ohio to put their beer into cans.  But It seems that the city has gotten even more excited over this “can-centric” brewery’s release of their bottle series called the Trunk Series.  You can read more about the series in this post from yesterday…

The event that I thought should be highlighted by the Event of the Week this week is the release of the latest from the series “Joon”.  Joon is a ale, aged in gin barrels with juniper berries and ginger added. Again, you can read about it in some more detail on yesterday’s post.

So… they are releasing the beer this Thursday in the taproom starting at noon, and in typical fashion, you can expect the taproom to get crowded with loyal MadTree drinkers, desperate to get their hands on this latest release.
