There seems to be more and more craft beer festivals popping up around town as the popularity of our craft beer scene continues to rise.  This only can mean good things, as all of the people who have wanted to attend a beer festival, but haven’t been able to for whatever reason will hopefully now have one closer to their home to attend.

This week’s event is one of these beer festivals, called “Just Another Craft Beer Festival” and is located out at Thirsty’s Oasis in Mason.

The festival will kick off this Saturday at 2pm (1pm if you buy the VIP ticket) and will continue on through 6pm.

When Thirsty’s wanted to throw a festival, they knew that they wanted to use the opportunity to support local breweries and local businesses.  The festival will enable guests to try some things that they haven’t tried before, and often things that they wouldn’t otherwise give a shot.

The festival also promotes the local ArtsWave charity, and will feature raffles to help do so.  Some of the raffles will include:

• Coleman Coolers
• Brewery Tours
• After Hours Beer Tastings
• Local Tattoo Gift Card

There will also be plenty more give-aways from the vendors present at the festival.

With your ticket purchase you will receive:

• 10 – 5oz sample tickets (additional tastings can be purchased for $2 a piece.
• One food ticket, with the food being provided by Luigi’s Olde World Market (It’s a pig roast)
• The first 100 people into the festival will also receive a swag bag from local merchants.

Live music will of course be on hand to keep the party rocking!
