Off at the crack of the bat, spikes dug in, exploding with speed – Hustle breaks the game wide open. This Red Lager digs it out with crisp malt tones and a hop balance finessed like a delicate bunt down the baseline.

Rhinegeist’s original recipe for Hustle was a Rye Pale Ale, but they gave it a more refreshing and summery revamp for the 2017 baseball season with this new Red Lager.  The beer gets it’s color from a nice addition of Red X malt, and uses Bravo and Hallertau Blanc to give it a fresh, clean, drinkable quality to it.

The change was decided just to give their fans something more drinkable for baseball season, and this beer does that fantastically.

My Thoughts On Rhinegeist Hustle

This beer pours a deep red color, with a light tan head on top of the beer.

This light, easy drinking beer has a flavor of soft, sweet malt.  It brings notes of light bread and a really great clean finish.

This is a beer designed from the ground up to pair with baseball games.  If you find yourself at the ballpark, and you’re looking for something, don’t pass this up because of your sadness of the loss of it’s Rye Pale brother.
