Here they go again… Braxton still isn’t letting up off the packaged beer gas pedal, yet. They fired out news this morning that they’d be releasing yet another can off their packaging line for the summer, and this one has my house ‘Buzzing’ with excitement.
The latest one to be shown is called ‘Buzz’, and it’s their signature beer for this year’s Bunbury music festival. If you aren’t aware, the brewery has almost as much of a love for music as they do the craft beer that has made them loved by their city.
About Buzz
Buzz is going to be the official craft beer of the 2017 Bunbury music festival in Cincinnati. The festival lasts three days and takes place downtown at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove from June 2 through June 4th. The good part for Braxton fans isn’t just the music lineup, though – it’s that Braxton is sponsoring the Bunbury Music Festival’s Craft Beer Village – and brewing a beer to make it all official-like.
According to the label:
Bee Free. Let the sweet sound of music take control, and lift one to life!
A Crisp, Light bodied and slightly sweet balanced beer with subtle peach flavors and hop characters. This tasty twist on a traditional Kolsch style is brewed to be the perfect outdoor summer sipper, pairing perfectly with whatever you and your friends playlist has in queue.
It comes in at an easy drinking 5.1% ABV and 24 IBUs – I think it’s pretty clear that this beer is designed to be refreshing for the hottest of summer’s days.
For even more reason to be excited, you’ll be able to find this can on shelves at your favorite Greater Cincinnati Kroger store (as well as bars, restaurants and liquor stores leading up to the festival too.)
The Release
Don’t have Bunbury tickets, or you just can’t wait to get your hands on a six pack? Well… in typical Braxton fashion, they’re throwing a tapping party in the garage to celebrate, so you’re in luck. You should probably go ahead and mark your calendar now for Thursday, May 25th at 6pm.
They’re tapping the beer in their taproom, and the Bunbury street team will be there giving away some tickets. If that’s not enough for you, of course they’re going to have music that night too! A to-be-announced band will be playing in the taproom before their big set down at Bunbury in June. You should RSVP on Facebook and make sure you share the event with all your friends too.
Then… yes, there’s even more…. Braxton is hosting a Bunbury Buzz takeover at 16 bit, where the beer will be tapped alongside four more Braxton beers. There will be a guitar hero contest that night for another set of tickets (here’s the Facebook link for that event.)
