Rhinegeist is getting ready to celebrate the return of their Imperial Stout and it’s six variants this year. Rhinegeist Ink is back… and it’s coming back in style. The brewery just recently unveiled a new look for their line of barrel aged beers… so it’s about time they give some love back to the OG of their bottles. Ink was, after all, the very first beer that hit 22oz bomber back when the brewery unveiled their rarity series.
The brewery is using the opportunity to celebrate ‘All Things Ink” with not only the beer releases, but also Cincinnati’s premier tattoo artists on hand, doing live tattoos of pre-selected flash art.
The Rhinegeist Ink Variant Releases
Six different bottles will be available for purchase – and even more variants will be on hand for you to try. Rhinegeist’s barrel master, Mitch Dougherty was pretty excited, making note of how great the beer stands up to barrel aging, and how fun the base of the beer stands up to additions like coffee, cacao nibs or coconut.
Thirsty yet? Maybe this will help:
- Ink
- Cafe Ink
- Mole Ink
- Coconut Ink
- Cacao & Almond Ink
- Barrel Aged Ink

The Tattoos
Like I mentioned before… this is a celebration of all things Rhinegeist Ink, which means that there will be tattoo artists on hand showcasing their art, and doing work live. Each of the following tattoo parlors will have a booth set up, and will have a provided flash sheet of tattoos that will be available for purchase.
- White Whale
- Get Up Tattoo Society
- Black Fern
- Got Ink?
- Handcraft Tattoo
If you’re interested… and in my opinion, of course, you should be – the event is all happening on Saturday, November 23rd from 12pm to 10pm. It’s free to get into but if you wanna snag some bottles or get yourself ‘inked up’ – you’ll probably wanna bring your wallet. You can find more about the event over at Rhinegeist’s website here.
