To say that Taft’s Brewing company has been upping their packaged game lately is a bit of an understatement. The brewery has kicked things into a new gear ever since debuting their new branding last year.

We’ve seen Nellie’s take on it’s own personality, with Raspberry, Sweet Orange and now Blackberry hitting the canning line. Special releases have been plentiful with some really great new recipes taking center stage alongside some really delicious favorites that have finally made it into packaging.

It’s been exciting to say the least.

If you’re enjoying the ride as much as I have been, you’ll be happy to see the label that just rolled through the TTB this week – because it sounds pretty tasty… Behold: Taft’s Hazelnut Latte.

About Hazelnut Latte, The Beer.

We have some big time hazelnut fans in this city, and a few breweries brewing up some fun things to meet that demand. From Chickow! At Listermann to Wake me Up at Wiedemann and Eye Opener at Cellar Dweller… there’s some fun stuff – and I’m excited to see what Taft’s Brings to the party.

The beer is a Hazelnut Coffee Milk Stout brewed with coffee from the great folks over at Deeper Roots… if you ever tried the brewery’s ‘Mooly Wooly’ – think of that… with hazelnuts and coffee. It’s hard to imagine this will be anything short of delicious!

The cans will be right blue with little lattes in the background, capped with beautiful latte foam artwork, and the Taft’s “tub image” shows big billy himself hoisting a glass of a steaming coffee treat as he relaxes.
