Rhinegeist announced in early 2020 that the year would bring a few new packaged beers with it – including this, the Cloud Harvest Series. The series is three different ‘Unfiltered, Juicy IPAs’ led by the released of Moku Nui in February.

The brewery spoke in a press release a little bit about what they were going for with Cloud Harvest, talking about the two years of research and experimentation that went into developing the beers – playing around with dozens of hop and yeast combinations to impart explosive, tropical and juicy flavors with low bitterness and full body.

They are very careful to not call these NE IPAs, but instead to label them as Unfiltered, Juicy IPAs – a category on it’s own that seems to break through the mold of what the trendiness of NE IPAs has seemed to create.

As each new part of the series is released and I get notes written up about them – you’ll find it all right here – so stay tuned! As always, you can read more about Rhinegeist here on the blog, or if you’re looking for more, make sure you hit them up on their website!
