It’s an occasion that only happens once every four years… which means it’s a good time to celebrate with a beer (every chance we get to celebrate with a beer is good). Sam Adams is taking this years Leap Year weekend to launch a hoppy beer, and some fun stuff to do around Findlay Market, too.

About The Beer

366 is a hazy IPA brewed to celebrate the extra day we get to enjoy this year, and it sounds like a really delicious way to celebrate if I do say so myself… Sam Adams is saying that this beer is a “Craft Beer enthusiast’s dream”, that will remind your tastebuds of wonder bread with eucalyptus, ripe melon and passionfruit hop notes. It comes in at 6.4% ABV, which is right in my wheelhouse for what I want out of an IPA.

Sam Adams’ head brewer Chris Siegman had this to say about the beer:

366 is a light and creative blend that reflects the uniqueness of the Leap Year holiday. There is no better time to celebrate this fun, one-of-a-kind release than during Bockfest, when beer fans will be flocking to OTR!

This limited release beer is available only in the Sam Adams taproom, and only for a short time until it’s gone – so make sure you get there starting Saturday, 2/29 to enjoy it!

How To Celebrate

Before (or after if you’re adventurous) you grab a couple pints of ‘366’ – make sure you head over to Findlay Market to find the temporary, hidden hopscotch courses that the brewery has hidden around, too. It’s a fun little addition to your weekend Bockfestivities, and will only be around through March 1st… make sure that you tag @SamAdamsCincy during your fun!
