Bursting with so much tropical fruit flavor you’d swear there were juicy bits inside! Yet all of that juicy goodness comes from a mythical combination of Mosaic, Citra and El Dorado hops.

This beer took the traditional core lineup of 16 Lots and flipped it on its head. When they released it as part of their can lineup in the summer of 2019 it was clear that this brewery meant business – not just in the old school beer category, but in the more trendy styles that beer geeks tend to flock to, also.

The name… well – the name is a clear reference to the big waterpark that lies just down the road from the brewery and taproom. If you know, you know. If you don’t know, well… how?

My Thoughts on 16 Lots Soak City

This beer starts in the glass with a beautiful bright yellow, hazy body and a big, pillowy soft, bright white head on top.

Aromas are all juicy, fruity, tropical, happy notes. I get a ton of citrus and some mango going on, too.

The flavor is soft, smooth, and again – surprise… juicy. The beer hits right on all the sweet spots that you want from a juicy/NE IPA. It’s a really nice, and needed addition to the tap (and can) lineup for 16 Lots!
