Brownies… Beer… Brownie Beer. This is all that you really need to know to convince yourself to head to stock up in one of Warped Wing’s taprooms, I assume. I think we can do a little better, though.
Late last month (sorry… I was late) Warped wing announced that they’d be working with The Killer Brownie Company to create a collaboration that is what they’ve called “A culinary meld of craft goodness”.
This beer is like a brownie in liquid form – a killer brownie in liquid form to be exact. Aromas of deep, rich chocolate come at you upfront, followed up with sips of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and molasses.
The Killer Brownie company is owned and operated by the same family as Dorthy Lane Market, and from what they say, what started as one unforgettable fudge-y, gooey, double-layered brownie nestled with pecans and velvety caramel – The Original – a robust offering of gourmet brownie flavors has grown, including fun seasonal additions.
The brewery goes on to add that they’ve been working on this project for a few years, and are pretty thrilled to see it finally come to life. Needless to say the folks at Killer Brownie are pretty excited to work with Warped Wing, too. It’s not every day you get to work with a company that has the commitment to quality, and a love for their community the way they do.
The beer is available in all three of their taprooms this week – Downtown Dayton, Springboro as well as the new Mason taproom.
Make sure that you grab yourself a glass of it in the taproom, and also a six-pack to take home, too! They’ll even have custom branded glassware available while they last… if you’re a geeky collector like I am!
